Øsetting my shit to private...yes i did. and i like it. i had been fighting with this shit for a while now and decided to start with my myspace page.

¡i had written a very mean blog that i had second guessed, and took off the circuit, because it was just too mean. who knows if it may float it's way back in the bloging realm????

ºi hate male employees, but, love bosses that are men--men don't know how to multi task for shit...women are hard people to work for. but i totally respect them.

§do you believe in kindred spirits??? i do.

åi have always been one to hold on tight in relationships but spending time with myself i'm learning to let people have their breathing room cuz i want it too.

©nothing is new and i have known that for years, maybe because of my age but theory shows that @ least 3 people come up with the same ideal at the same......there is no "new" ideal. let the cycle continue......(respect)

→i'm so sci fi -- i need to read more of my sis's bodices rippers to freshen up my "dirty talk" ..... i like to talk dirty but i'm a total amateur at it. they like that shit...or @ least i like that shit. put in the right words at the right time who wouldn't like that shit????

®allstars still look good in everything.

®i practically have to hate a man before it will be anywhere near good....no giddiness here. giddiness will get you know where.

¥i buy all my bags and candles at costplus...don't know why just needed to say that, just love it so.....

¿what the f*#k is this thing going around myspace....i have gotten two comments already with this "you must see this" shit on it and by clicking on it takes you to a sex site accompanied by moaning girls and all. if i ain't doin it i don't wanna see it...thats how selfish i'm is...lol.

yes, yes, yes, i've been a bit on the sappy side lately...

i don't know why i'm feeling this way, but yet i know why i'm feeling this way and i'm not going to lie and say that the last entry will be my last sappy moment cause it probably wont be...just warning you now.

but...yeah. the pink room...

about a year ago i was down in los angeles, on one of my favorite streets (rodeo dr), in one of my favorite stores(ralph lauren), and if you have ever been in one of ralph lauren's houses you'll want to stay, it's comfy just like a home and every room has it own theme...well, i walked into this one room and it was full of pink accessories and clothing with a pink pony placed in the middle of the floor at that time i didn't understand the theme and where it came from?? then, but i understand it now.

do you know there is a higher rate of african american women who actually die from breast cancer than any other race, not because of our dna or anything hereditary but, 1. lack of knowledge and 2. no health care insurance? medical director Harold P. Freeman M.D. and Ralph Lauren are committed in educating, preventing and treating low income communities of breast and prostate cancer. i like that....i mean, me being a big ralph lauren devotee since the mid 80's and just happy to see that my admiration is not in vain.

now, i know ralph is getting a major tax write off for his efforts, but at least he is going beyond just the typical "pink ribbon" campaign and opening up centers in the hood. but he's got to expand and build more, one around slauson and broadway in L.A. and maybe another in lancaster ca. also.

(but one thing i'm curious about is low income communities have more than just african americans residing there half or more are hispanic who exist and dwell in these same communities why are they not effected by this?? or are they?? -big sceptic when it comes to the media...
note to self: must look this up.)

yes can you hear my brain ticking? just a little friday night banter...i can't believe it is friday already??? wasn't it friday last week? weeks are going by so fast.

Oree-Voree!!!(jada from a different world)

there are just some songs that say exactly whats on your mind, every word is perfect and hits every thought that your feeling.

i am a very outgoing person in the way that i dress and the way i go about things in my daily life but some people can be a bit intimating and i get a bit shy, but, still like them and want them around. when i do, do things like, going out of myself to let people know how i feel...it's true and with alotta heart.

that's it...i would have uploaded the song...but i don't know how. (help)

peace.

a long time friend of mine called me last night wanting me to read this out loud to him for he had no internet access @ that moment. (pls note i was very hesitant about doing this, i mean it was damn near 11pm, i was in the bed and wasn't even thinkin about reading some article out loud to nobody, but i did ...*huh* the irony...)

-----

>BLACK PEOPLE, PLEASE, READ & HEED. POIGNANT.>>

The sad thing about this article is that the essence of it is true. The>truth hurts. I just hope this sets more Black people in motion towards>making real progress. Chris Rock, a Black comedian, even joked that>Blacks don't read.>>
Help prove them wrong! Read and pass on.>>
Please Note:>>

For those of you who heard it, this is the article Dee Lee was reading>this morning on a New York radio station. For those of you who didn't>hear it, this is very deep. This is a heavy piece and a Caucasian wrote>it.>>

THEY ARE STILL OUR SLAVES We can continue to reap profits from the>Blacks without the effort of physical slavery Look at the current>methods of containment that they use on themselves: IGNORANCE, GREED,>and SELFISHNESS.>>>

Their IGNORANCE is the primary weapon of containment. A great man once>said, "The best way to hide something from Black people is to put it in>a book." We now live in the Information Age. They have gained the>opportunity to read any book on any subject through the efforts of>their fight for freedom, yet they refuse to read. There are numerous books>readily available at Borders, Barnes & Noble, and>Amazon.com, not to mention their own Black Bookstores that provide solid >blueprints to reach economic equality (which should have been their fight >all along),>but few read consistently, if at all.>>

GREED is another powerful weapon of containment. Blacks, since the>abolition of slavery, have had large amounts of money at their>disposal. Last year they spent 10 billion dollars during Christmas, out of >their>450 billion dollars in total yearly income (2.22%).>>Any of us can use them as our target market, for any business venture>we care to dream up, no matter how outlandish, they will buy into it.>Being primarily a consumer people, they function totally by greed. They>continually want more, with little thought for saving or investing.>>

They would rather buy some new sneaker than invest in starting a>business. Some even neglect their children to have the latest Tommy or >FUBU, And>they still think that having a Mercedes, and a big house gives them>"Status" or that they have achieved their Dream.>>

They are fools! The vast majority of their people are still in poverty>because their greed holds them back from collectively making better>communities.>>

With the help of BET, and the rest of their black media that often>broadcasts destructive images into their own homes, we will continue to>see huge profits like those of Tommy and Nike. (Tommy Hilfiger has even>jeered them, saying he doesn't want their money, and look at how the>fools spend more with him than ever before!). They'll continue to show>off to each other while we build solid communities with the profits>from our businesses that we market to them.>>

SELFISHNESS, ingrained in their minds through slavery, is one of the>major ways we can continue to contain them. One of their own, Dubois>said that there was an innate division in their culture. A "Talented>Tenth" he called it. He was correct in his deduction that there are>segments of their culture that has achieved some "form" of success.>However, that segment missed the fullness of his work. They didn't read>that the "Talented Tenth" was then responsible to aid The Non-Talented >Ninety Percent in achieving a better life. Instead, that segment has >created another class, a>

Buppie class that looks down on their people or aids them in a >condescending>manner. They will never achieve what we have. Their selfishness does>not allow them to be able to work together on any project or endeavor of>substance. When they do get together, their selfishness lets their egos>get in the way of their goal Their so-called help organizations seem to>only want to promote their name without making any real change in their>community.>>

They are content to sit in conferences and conventions in our hotels,>and talk about what they will do, while they award plaques to the best>speakers, not to the best doers. Is there no end to their selfishness?>
They steadfastly refuse to see that TOGETHER EACH ACHIEVES MORE (TEAM)>>

They do not understand that they are no better than each other because>of what they own, as a matter of fact, most of those Buppies are but>one or two pay checks away from poverty. All of which is under the control>of our pens in our offices and our rooms.>>

Yes, we will continue to contain them as long as they refuse to read,>continue to buy anything they want, and keep thinking they are>"helping" their communities by paying dues to organizations which do little >other>than hold lavish conventions in our hotels. By the way, don't worry>about any of them reading this letter, remember, 'THEY DON'T READ!!!!>>
(Prove them wrong. Please pass this on! After Reading it..)>>

finding friends...is like finding a mate you can't just go lookin all willy-nilly, it should just happen)))...that's my motto..

i am not a big people person and tend to admire those who are--sometimes. you know the kind, where the party just isn't a party till they show up (my sister "wee wee" is just the sort of person..they love her) but yes, i never was, i have a close niche of friends and that's about it and the majority of them are related.

i have this fear of getting used and i either put up my big wall of defense (hi-yah..) or...just don't have the tolerance for bull that some people will dish out and won't deal w/them @ all. either way it gets lonely. and i finding this out in a new town, again...and clearly evident of this new year...although i didn't make it to new years( fell asleep @ 11 something), but still it would have been nice to share it with people that i care about one way or another, i have always hated this holiday--very depressing, kind of like a sunday afternoon(you know monday is coming).

i have neglected this blog entry for a while due to the fact that i will be putting myself out there and i may actually have to own up to my obligations of wanting to meeting new people and do something about it. (but what if i can't???) yes..a very negative remark, but i'm only human.

sigh* we'll see what happens....
